Voluntary work

employees are represented by unions – employers by the chambers of crafts and guilds. but what about apprentices? they fall through the cracks almost everywhere.

“we all have to start at the bottom of the ladder” they say, using that as an excuse for unacceptable pay, exploitation, discrimination, and a rude treatment.

that has to change. that’s why I’m a proud member and board member of the

Azubihilfe Netzwerk e.V.

we volunteer our time to advocate for long-term improvements in training conditions and to combat all forms of discrimination in the skilled trades.

in doing so, we are particularly committed to advancing the interests of marginalized groups, such as women, LGBTQIA+, BIPoC, and people with disabilities.

we want to create structures to address these issues. to achieve this goal, we focus on networking and dialogue, education and counseling, as well as public relations and campaigns to draw media attention to the problems in the skilled trades.
